Tiffany Doodle's new May release!

It's time for a Tiffany Doodle's new release and the DT are showcasing their makes using them today!  There are seven newbies in total which you can see in the store here!  For my first make, I used the got Lavender set...

As they are png files I just layered several of the images together to create the bouquet.  I matched the image with BasicGrey Wisteria papers and the butterflies are the gorgeous Sweet Butterfly digis available in the shop here.

For my second make, I used the Mushroom Garden set...

Again, I just layered the images together into a row and matched them up with papers from the BasicGrey Max and Whiskers collection - I think they match perfectly!

Okay, you can see more gorgeous DT  inspiration over at the blog here!  That's it from me - thanks for visiting!

I am entering my lavender card into the following challenges:

Having a fin-tastic day!

I know I shouldn't go on about the British weather (but it is a British hobbie, you know), but it looks like our summer is over. What a miserable, rainy, grey day! Luckily, there are two challenges that gave me an excuse to make cards that cheered me up!

This first one is the Quixotic #35 challenge "Life's a beach" - aren't those papers just gorgeous! I've had them for a couple of years and not used them. They always make me think of wavy underwater, so perfect for all those mermaid stamps at the moment! I shaped the mermaid and seal to give them some movement - it's a neat trick!

The second card is for this week's Crazy 4 Challenge to include a cupcake - yum! I used this week's Card Patterns' sketch #76 and All That Scraps colour challenge to use aqua, brown and kraft...

Hope to see you tomorrow! And I hope to see some sun!

Over the moo-oon!

I found this stamp in my stash that I've never used so thought I'd better! I love this Koetie stamp - it is sooo cute! I was going to make a baby card with it, but it makes me think of being friends so I made it into a birthday card for one of my best buddies instead! I used this week's Craft Sentiments sketch and here it is...

Some of you have been asking about my 2004 black convertible Mercedes CLK that I mentioned in my post last Friday! Yes, I bought it on Saturday! I was so nervous on the way to the car dealers that I nearly had second thoughts - but as soon as I took it out on a test drive, I fell in love with it! It is such a smooth, easy car to drive! My husband managed to bargain a really good deal too - I would have paid the full asking price! So now I have my dream car AND I can buy an outfit to co-ordinate with it, lol!! The dealership is doing a full service on it and then I am picking it up on Wednesday afternoon - can't wait!!!

I am in such a good mood - can you tell?! I have some coloured in images all ready to be made up so I should be able to make some cards this week so watch this spot!
