Puff!

It's another Bellarific Friday and this week we had a sketch to work with, so here is my Bellarific Babe card....

Ain't he cute?!  This is Puff by Jessica Rose and this stamp also comes with a mini Puff too - it is even cuter!!  And do you know what's even better?  The set is reduced from $10.99 to $5.00!  I matched him up with My Minds Eye Lime Twist papers and used an embossing folder to create some interest.  I am entering this into the Paper Shelter challenge for celebrations (a birthday of course!).

The new Bellarific Friday theme is "banners".  Email your creations to Em by next Thursday 28 February for a chance to win $20 Bella Bucks (either by submitting a project or simply commenting on next week's Bellarific Friday post)!

You can also join with our Bellarific Tuesday with the theme of Thoughts of Spring - easy peasy - for a chance to win $20 Bella Bucks!

I'm off now - thanks for visiting!

Celebrate you

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a card using those gorgeous Quixotic Paperies goodies!  I went for a vintage shabby chic look, but it looks too clean and neat!!  What do you think...

This gal is so elegant, don't you think?  She is Susana Loves Stamps - Classic Eyes or you can buy her in the Eyes of Dreams set of 4 stamps with a bonus stamp.  I used Viva Decor Pearl Pen and the Viva Decor Glitter Liner to highlight her headdress.  I used those gorgeous elegant papers from the My Minds Eye Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks pad and the sentiment is from the Paper Makeup Little Moments Mini set.  Lastly, I finished it off with embellishing with beads for the flower centres and a rich touch of Prima lace.

And do you like the layout?  I used my March-April sketch - if you want a chance to win a £15 voucher to the store, see all the deets here!

That's it from me - have a lovely weekend everybody!

I'm here when you need me...

Have you seen the new Stamping Bella Uptown Girls in the Quixotic Paperie shop?!!  Well, it's Mary J here and those who know me, know that I just luuuurve these fun, modern gals!!  As soon as Elaine put them in the shop last week, this one (plus others!) went straight into my basket and was delivered just in time for me to make this card for today....

This is Perry on her Laptop and it comes with that fab sentiment too!  The paper (another item that fell into my basket!) comes from the new My Minds Eye Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks pad.  I used it to paper piece the armchair and you can see where I used my Copics to shade it to give it depth.

And do you like the layout?   I used the new Quixotic Inspirations no. 4 sketch - another one from me so I hope you like it and get to play along this month for a chance to win a £15 Quixotic Paperie voucher!  Check out the deets on the sketch post here!

That's it from me today - have a super duper weekend all!  And thanks for visiting me - I love reading the comments you leave me!

That's a big one! Oohh err missus!

LOL!  Sorry, that is a horrid title but it popped into my head because of the size of this ornament!!  So without further ado, let me introduce you to this gorgeously sweet Holiday Peekers - Where On The Tree by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD...

Isn't she SWEET?!  I used papers from My Minds Eye 12 Days of Christmas pad and I paper pieced the bauble and then used my Copics to shade it for depth.  I also added a glitter pen to highlight the snowflakes on the patterned paper and the mini bauble to make them pop more.  Here's a close up...

I used my sketch again for this month's Quixotic Inspiration challenge - I love it, even if I say so myself!!  Go to this post here to join in for a chance to win your own gorgeous Quixotic Paperie goodies!

Spooky!

Here is my make using the gorgeous Victoria from the Twilight collection....

I matched her up with papers from Echo Park Tricks and used a EK Success border punch with a By LoRi Designs' sentiment.  I also used my sketch for the Quixotic Paperie sketch challenge again - go here for a chance to win a QP £15 voucher!
