Light Up My Life!

So have someone or something you simply couldn't live without? They truly make your life shine?  This is for them!  I made this card using this newbie Life is Sweeter Kawaii style digi....

I

Not my usual style but thought this image would be great for teenagers!  I'm going to send this to one of my nephews who definitely lights up my life!  Okay, so the question now is - to embellish or not to embellish?!!  I am really trying to stick to this clean and simple style but it is soooo difficult - but it stays as it is!

And did you notice  something different about my piccie?  I've got a new watermark!  It's created by Karen Giron of The Sweetest Thing and it only cost US$2!

Make It Monday sponsored by Digi My World!

Hey, hope you are all enjoying 2012 so far!  It's a Bank Holiday in the UK today and I'm going to make the most of it before going back to work!  It's also Monday so that means a new linky party has opened over at Make It Monday!  And we are kicking it off with a brand new sponsor for us - Digi My World!  Annie is the owner and creator of these wonderful digis!  Here is my card using one of their newbie sets called England...

Now, I'm hoping my niece isn't reading this cos I want to give her this for her birthday in March!  She is just as cute and gorgeous as Annie's teen creations and born in Britain - a perfect match!  

I typed up and printed the sentiment - for those who aren't familiar, the phrase "Keep calm and Carry On" was a slogan created by the UK government for posters during World War II.  It's now a trendy phrase to use and I obviously modified it to fit the occasion!  


And did you notice - no embellishments!  Hhhmmm, feeling a bit naked but couldn't think of anything else to add to it!!  Any advice most welcome please!

 What an original, huh?!  Elena's colouring is fab and love how she did the tic-tac-toe - so clever!  But that Elena is so creative, I wish I could be in her brain sometimes!  Thanks Elena for sharing with us honey!

Right, got a few more Xmas cards done this morning and that should be it!  Although I always miss a few and end up creating a few more!  The first two uses two digis from the Digi My World Winter Kids set....

Super sweet!  And great value as you get 6 digis for only $3.00.  I am entering these into the Digi My World Winter challenge.

I cheated with these as I copied previous cards I've made - I have the desperate need for speed today!!
