Hey there

Here is my Doodlelicious Diva card for Whimsie Doodles using Social Teen Thinking...

Isn't she cool?  I think I will give this to my niece who is a super cool gal too!  I matched her up with s.e.i Sugar papers and used my Lil' Inker Designs Instant Camera die and Rectangular Stitched Mats die and a Paper Smooches sentiment.   I am entering my card into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

Okay, I gotta go now!  Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll see you later on my blog rounds!

Let's shell-abrate over at A Spoonful of Sugar!

Hi everyone and I hope your week has started off well!  It's a new challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar and this week the theme is "celebrate" sponsored by Whimsy Stamps - birthdays, weddings, new arrival, whatever takes your fancy!  I decided to go for a birthday card because you can never have enough of these in your stock of spare cards...

So now you know I didn't misspell the title of this post, lol!!  I used this sweet little crab and sentiment digi from the Shell-a-bration digistamp set by Whimsie Doodles.  Sweet, no?  I used the sketch over at Allsorts and flipped upside down - it's one of my all time faves!  I am also entering this card into Cupcake Inspirations for their photo challenge.

Come back later for my Totally Ladybug Tuesday DT post!

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, SEI Happy Day paper pad
Stamps: Shell-a-bration digistamp set by Whimsie Doodles
Mediums: Copics

Friends are the sunshine of life

I hope you enjoyed yesterday's Totally Ladybug Tuesday - weren't the DT cards amazing, as usual!!  That Kerry is lucky to have such a fab and friendly team!  (I am sure she will agree, or else!)  And isn't it fab news about our new challenge blog starting from 2 November?  I am hosting the very first one so I'd love it if you could pop by and support me!

Anyhoo, onto today's card which is a lovely fairy friend one - the attention to detail to the Michelle Perkett Studio images are amazing - look at those flowers and leaves around the ankle, the perfect finishing touch!

You can't really see it from the photos, but I've added lots of Glamour Dust to the wings and flowers - it shimmers beautifully!  I am also entering this card into the following challenges:
  • Crafty Ann's challenge - use a digi and favorite medium (Copics of course!)
  • abc challenge - F is for flowers (background and the delicate flowers on the image)
  • Sarah Hurley - colouring (I've already entered a card so I hope 2 is okay!)

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, sei Jocelyn paper collection

Stamps: Michelle Perkett Studio Juniper and Cecilia digi (got mine from Bunny Zoe's Crafts here)
ediums: Copic markers, Glamour Dust (on wings and flowers)
Accents: Paperchase ribbon
Tools: Tim Holtz border die, Corner Chomper, Nestabilities label die (inside card)

A big 4-0!

One of my favourite clients hit his big 40 last week so of course I just had to make him a card. He's a great guy who is very easy to get on with and we always have a good laugh! He's also a sophisticated, tall Italian and, of course, I wanted a card to reflect his personality. When I saw the new Signature Greetings by Papertrey Ink, I knew it was the perfect sentiment for his card! Dawn McVey has a made a gorgeous card with it, see here. Unfortunately, it was only released on 15 November and couldn't get it in time for his card so I made up my own, but I'll be getting my credit card out to get the set (and perhaps some other items might fall in the 'basket' too!). So here is my card...

And then I made this card for no particular reason apart from liking the papers!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Papers/cardstock: various cardstock, SEI Jake papers
Stamps: none
Mediums: none
Accents: BasicGrey die cut numbers
Tools: EK Success Binder Edge edger punch, various Woodware star punches, Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper, pc (sentiment)
