You choose over at Sweet Stampin!

Happy weekend everybody and I hope you all have a great weekend lined up!  What better way to start the weekend than with a challenge?  This week over at Sweet Stampin there is a new challenge and this time you have a choice!  Either choose to use the sweet sketch or have sparkle, spots and stripes on your creation.  OR better still do both to earn brownie points!!!  I managed to get my brownie points with my second guest designer card...

Yes, I know I only used this little cutie Little Sylfie from The Paper Shelter earlier this week, but when I saw the sketch I just thought organic and mushrooms!!!  Don't ask me why, I really should sit down now...

I hope you have been inspired to play along this week and, if not, you really should take a peek at the Design Team creations - they are fabulous!!!  You can see them all here.

Okay, that's it from me today - thank you for visiting!  I will be back tomorrow for my guest designer card for Cupcake Inspirations!

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love paper pad

Sketch time over at A Spoonful of Sugar

(Please scroll down for my Totally Ladybug Tuesday DT post)

We all love a good sketch to get our mojos going, right?!  Well this week's sketch challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar hits the spot - I loved this sketch!  Here's what I did with it...

This cute elf is called Little Sylfie from The Paper Shelter - ain't she lovely?!  I thought she would be perfect with the My Minds Eye Nutmeg paper pad - I know this has a more autumnal feel to it, but I thought the orange and reds would brighten it up for an early summer card!

Of course, the rest of the DT makes are fabulous!  You can see them all here - enjoy!

I am also entering my card into the Flutter By Butterfly challenge, The Paper Shelter for bling (do my little gems count?!) My Mum's Craft Shop for cute and girly and Divas By Design for anything goes.

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock, My Minds Eye Nutmeg
Mediums: Copics
Accents: Dew Drops, orange sisal ribbon (from Bunny Zoe's Crafts here)
Tools: Nestabilities dies, My Favorite Things flower and leaf dies

Inspired by nature!

Happy Easter everyone!  I hope you get all the chocolate bunnies you can eat!  I'm not allowed chocolate at the moment so I am going to save all mine up and eat them in one go once my restricted diet (to lower my blood pressure) is finished - YUM!

Onto today's card, the challenge over at The Paper Shelter is 'inspired by nature' and this is what I created....

I was inspired by the yummy papers by Prima's So Cute paper pad (bought mine from Quixotic Paperie here) and I love that cutie sitting on the fence, don't you?!  She is from The Paper Shelter and is called Sophie in the Country - I am lovin' this brand which I only found recently!  Not that I need help falling in love with craft stash!

I am entering this card - once again! - into That's Krafty Thursday challenge to use kraft cardstock!  This is Jeanie's 50th challenge so it would be great if you could join in so she can reach at least 50 entries!!  Come on, you know you want to play with your kraft cardstock!!

I am also entering my card into the following challenges:

You make life SWEET!

Another card from me and a quickie because Steve is getting fed up with me spending more time with you guys than him, lol!!

I just love hot chocolate!  I'm not allowed any chocolate at the moment (on a restricted diet to try to get my blood pressure down - boo!) so probably not the best card to make because now I NEED some choccies!!!  Don't you just love this image?  It's a digistamp from The Paper Shelter and you can buy it here and it only costs $1.50 - what a bargain!

I followed the sketch over at The Paper Shelter challenge blog and I'd also like to enter it into the Totally Gorjuss challenge for no DPs, Moving Along With The Times' and Sweet Stampin challenges both for chocolate (no explanation necessary!).

Better go - the hubbie is calling!!

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock
Stamps: The Paper Shelter hot chocolate, Pink Petticoat sentiment
Mediums: Copics
Accents: gingham ribbon from stash
Tools: Nestabilities rectangle die, hearts embossing folder, Fiskars border punch
