This year's Mother's Day cards

I've left making our Mothers Day cards a little late this year - better get them in the post tomorrow to make sure they get there before this weekend!  And this year I decided to go down the grown up elegant route instead of my usual cute stamped makes.  Here they are - one my mum...

And one for my MIL...

The flower is made with My Favorite Things Large Hybrid Heirloom Rose die and the greenery is from My Favorite Things Large Leaf Filled Flourish die, with a large ivory pearl popped in the middle.  The background is a Papertrey Ink Quatrefoil cover plate and the sentiment is from the CC Designs All Women set stamped on a Simon Says banner die cut.  The papers are from My Minds Eye but I couldn't tell you which ones because they were scraps - sorry!

I'm quite liking my grown up makes - even Steve liked them!  I will have to experiment more with these especially now that I've recently stepped down from some teams so I can experiment more freely.  It's so nice not having loads of DT commitments!  And I'm lovin' the teams I'm on so it doesn't feel like hard work being on these.

Okay, I'm off now - gotta make my niece's birthday card and I want it to be as special as her!

Day 3 of the All That Scraps June release!

Isn't she beautiful?  And such a pleasure to colour in.  I matched her up with Zoe Pearn Sugar Baby papers with the Papertrey Ink background die.

Cupcakes and champagne...

...could you think of a better combination?  I think not!  Well, perhaps chocolate and champagne...  Anyhoo, there is a point to my ramblings!  Check out my Bellarific Babe DT card...

Oh, I love love love this Stamping Bella Uptown Girl stamp!  This one is called Felicity and Blair and I wish every day had a good reason to have champers and cakes!  For the background, I used the left over bits from the die cutting for this card here that uses DCWV Baby Girl papers.

Ohhhh, I love this cute guy!  I matched him up with DCWV Baby Girl papers, Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Flat die and Papertrey Ink cover plate die.  I am entering this card into the Dies To Die For challenge for celebrations and Simon Says Stamp for new something (new baby and new stamp!).

Asian sweetness!

I'm here today with my Monday guest designer post for Pixie Dust Studios.  This week I have created this card using the panda from the Asian Collection...

The prettiest panda every, I'm sure you'll agree!  I love this collection and you get four images at a discounted price or you can save even more and get the Compass Collection that includes the Asian Collection!

I used a Papertrey Ink Quatrefoil cover plate die and the new C.C. Designs Cutter Olive Branch Die
with dies from the C.C. Designs Cutter 8 Petals & Branch Die set.  The papers are from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Saffron pad.
