Hey there, pumpkin!

Hello everyone!  I've hope you've all had a great weekend.  I've been busy doing catch up with house stuff after having another busy week at work but we did get to watch a local live band last night which was brilliant.  Had far too much alcohol and spent quality time with friends - the headache today was well worth it!  I also managed to squeeze in a little cardmaking today and created this for my friend who needs a bit of cheering up...

I love this sweet girl!  She is by SugarPea Designs from the stamp set called Bountiful Blessings.  I used Zoe Pearn papers and my Embossalicious embossing folder for some texture.  I think I should have layered up more grass behind the image but I'd stuck on the frame and it was too difficult to un-stick it after!  Ho hum.  I still like the way it turned out and I'm sure my friend won't notice!

There's still plenty of time to join in the current SugarPea Designs challenge with the theme of Give Thanks so I hope you will get a chance to join in.  You don't need to use a SPD stamp so can still win the $10 gift voucher and get one of these fabulous sets for yourself!

I'm off now - early to bed for me now as I have a very early start in the morning for another very, very busy working week.  Groan....

My style!

This week's inspiration over at La-La Land Crafts is "show your style".  I guess my style is clean and simple so here is my DT make for it...

I used the beautiful Fancy Marci Rubber Stamp and also used the Cherry Blossom Flowers Die, Berry Flourish die and Grass Border Die (which I layered for depth).  The papers are by Zoe Pearn.

I'm a bit late with this card - life is not running as smoothly or calmly as I would like it to be!  So the new September Whimsie Doodle challenge started a couple of days ago with the theme of Autumn colours so here is my Doodlelicious Diva make for it...

Yellow and orange are definitely reminders of Autumn for me but so is blue as we often get blue, sunny skies in September.  These papers by Zoe Pearn are perfect for it and I also used a WRMK embossing folder.  This little lady is from the Miss Adventure Tea with Abby stamp set available from the A Jillian Vance Designs store.

Bellarific Friday is here!

It's  Bellarific Friday and this week we had the theme of "friends".  Here is my take on it...

I used the beautiful Uptown Girl Pippa Loves to Plant.  This stamp has definitely NOT been made for me - I hate gardening!  But many of my family members and friends do so it always comes in handy.

Okay, this really is my last post for today - I promise!  A new All Dressed Up fortnightly challenge has started today and this week's theme is ribbon and/or lace.  I went for both!  And the design team are using the two new release digis in store today and I used the very sweet Tra La La La...

I love these little fellas!!  I used Zoe Pearn digi papers, my Quickutz snowflake embossing folder and Doodlebug rub on letters for the sentiment.

Brrrrrr....it's cold out there

I love this sweetie sitting on this wall!  I feel cold just looking at that frosty icicle border too!  They will be in the store from 7 November at 9am EST - not long too wait!

Hug in a mug

Blimey, I'm a bit late today - it's been a long week already at work and it's only Tuesday!  Still, managed to get my Doodlelicious Diva card done tonight and here it is...

I love this fella!  He's called Winter Cup and he's new in the store here along with some other new sweet images (plus there's a freebie if you haven't picked it up yet!).  I love colouring him in and pleased with how his hair turned out - shiny!

I love this Ugg Leah - such a fab name and of course she's not in the least ugly!  And I love her coat - I think Melyssa should start her own fashion line!  I matched her up with Zoe Pearn papers and a sweet button with a touch of natural twine.

I'm off now to do some gardening (grumble...grumble...) but will be back soon with another Doodlelicious Diva make!
