With heartfelt thanks

Hi all - I hope you've all had a great weekend.  I'm just popping in to share a thank you card I made with some of the gorgeous SugarPea Designs January release goodies.

I love this little dude!  He's from the Foxy Friend stamp set and I also used the SugarCuts Heart Journal Card and SugarCuts Notched Heart Journal Card die sets.  I used Bazzill kraft cardstock for the base and Bazzill Bling black cardstock to give it a little sheen.

Card for an amazing guy

Here is my first design team card for Docrafts which some of you may have already seen if you're a Docrafts Club Member and get access to stuff before everybody else...

Not relying on stamped images is pretty hard - it's usually the main focus to work around so having to create a different type of focal point was pretty hard for me!  Once I had come up with an idea though it was quite easy to put together.  I think this card would be great for a male birthday card or even a congratulations for something card! What is for certain though is that I want to give this to my nephew!

SugarPea Designs Sweet 2 Repeat time!

Here is my DT make creating a simple but sweet tag...

I used the tag from the SugarCuts Gift Tag die set and created a border with the heart border stamp from the Special Delivery stamp set.  I used some polka dot Doodlebug paper to die cut the heart out from the SugarCats Heart Journal Card die set.  I thought die cutting the envelope from the SugarCuts Special Delivery die set with kraft card would give it a more modern feel to it.

SugarPea Designs 1st birthday celebration!

This is a very special day - it's the first birthday of SugarPea Designs!  When the very sweet Wendy, owner of the store, asked me to join her design team, I was really pleased she asked me as she is a very talented crafter herself plus I have considered her a very good friend.  What I didn't know was how much I would love the stamp sets and how fast the company would grow!  I truly love SugarPea Designs and very proud to be on this very talented team.

Here is my DT card in celebration of SugarPea Designs first birthday...

I just had to use the newbies from the January release and I'm really pleased with how this turned out.  I used the SugarCuts Air Mail die set, SugarCuts Heart Journal Card die set, SugarCuts Heart Border die, and the sentiment is from the Happy Mail stamp set.

I also used the heart border stamp from this month's  freebie stamp set which you can get if you spend $60 or more this month. It's called Build-A-Background - Basics and here's a closer look at it...

Day 3 of sneak peeks of the SugarPea Designs January release!

Yep, it's day 3 of sneak peeks of the SugarPea Designs January release and today we are showcasing a new illustrator for this month and here is the gorgeous first set called On Target...

Isn't she beautiful?  I also used the new SugarCuts Heart Journal Card die set.  I punched little holes in the corners of the hearts so I could line them up along the natural twine, along with a few sequins.

Our entire January Product Release will be available for purchase in the SugarPea Designs Store on Friday, January 9th at 6:00 PM EST!

We've some more gorgeous sneak peeks of the SugarPea Designs January release and today we are showcasing Classroom Cupids, Special Delivery, SugarCuts - Heart Journal Card, SugarCuts - Notched Heart Journal Card and SugarCuts - Special Delivery Accents.  Here's what I made with all of them...

I loved how this card turned out!  I used Doodlebug papers and I used pink glitter cardstock for the heart in the envelope.  I also stamped the sentiment also from the Classroom Cupids set on to a die cut from the last release's Gift Tag SugarCuts die set (available in store now!).
