Club La-La Land Crafts October kit

Have you joined up to the Club La-La Land Crafts kits yet?  I must say, I'm not sure I would risk paying upfront for goodies that I'd never seen before, but I would sign up for the La-La Land Crafts ones - all of them so far have been gorgeous!  And we are showing more of the October kit today so here is my DT take using it...

Gorgeous stamps and dies, huh?  I totally love those branches and the snowflake border.  There are also some matching individual snowflakes in the kit too which are dinky sweet and some background tree stamps too.  As you can see, I made a card and a chocolate basket filled my all time favourite chocolates - not sure if these will last until I give the basket away!

Copics used:
Face: E000, E00, E21, R20
Hair: Y11, Y15, Y17
Outfit & bird: E31, E33, E35, R02, R05, R08, C09, C05, C03

Check more lovely kit inspiration over at the blog here and find all the deets on how to subscribe to the kits here.  I'll be back tomorrow with my Doodlelicious Diva card - see you then!

Ho, ho, ho!

Yay, happy weekend everyone!  I'm here today to show you another tag I made using the gorgeous My Favorite Things goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store...

For this tag I used the second largest die from the Decorative Circle Tag Stax I used the LJD - Stitched Stockings stamp set (the LJD Stocking Trio die matches this set) for one the stockings and hearts that I stamped on Make It Colour Blending Card and layered up for depth.  Here's an angle shot so you can see it better...

The sentiment is also from the stamp set which I used with the Mini Wavy Pennants die and for the border I used the Dainty Dots Border die topped off with iridescent flat backed pearls.

I used papers from the Carta Bella Merry & Bright pad and die cut it with one of my Nesties that fits this tag die perfectly!

I've got so many more tags to make up - I can't believe how many presents I'm giving away!  I hope I get as many back, lol!  Okay, I gotta go - see you tomorrow with my Bella Babe DT post!

Choccie holder!

I'm here with another make using more fabulous goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store!  So for my DT make today, I have made a Christmas decoration that I am going to store my all time favourite Lindt chocolates in...

I used the new Make It Crafty Santa Sleigh 3D Kit lasercut chipboard.  I trimmed up one of the Christmas Borders lasercut chipboard and glued some Delicate Snowflakes onto the reindeer.  I had so much fun making this!  First I prepped the chipboard by painting it with Gesso then I inked up the edges with some Brilliance blue ink and then added loads (and I mean loads!) of Stickles Icicles glue.  You can just about see in the photos that I also stuck on some snow white Flowersoft along the bottom.

Now I've got to hide the choccies before I eat them all before Christmas!

B merry!

Happy, happy Monday! It's Mary J here with another make using goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store!  So for my DT make today, I have made a card that holds a book token...

I stamped newbie My Favorite Things a la modes - You Shine on Make It Colour Blending Card which works brilliantly with Copics and matched her up with My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland papers.  I used My Favorite things Die-Namics Gift Card Pocket with the Gift Card Greetings and the Jumbo Squiggle die for the border.

This is definitely going to my niece, although I may replace the book token with just cash as I'm sure she'd prefer to buy herself some make up instead!

Now I've got to go and make several more for the nephews!
