Time for a new Make It Monday linky party!  And this week we are being sponsored by the sweet, whimsical Meljen's Designs! For my DT make, I using Little Pocket Mice...

I love this cute image and knew it would be perfect for a mini circle card!  I think the denim digi paper is a freebie from a mag, but I can't remember which one!

I hope you can join us this week - we love seeing your creativity!  Meljen Designs Digital Stamps  are giving away the lovely prize of the winner's choice of 4 single digis!

Onto my pick of the week!  I chose this beautiful card by Berit of Berit's Hobbykrok...

Make It Monday sponsored by Meljen Designs!

It's time for a new linky party over at Make It Monday and today we are being sponsored by the wonderful and whimsical Meljen's Designs!  For my make this week, I used Window Kitty...

I loved making this card but it made me feel sad too!!  Bless, someone let that cat in!!!  And what do you think of my clean and simple card?  I just wanted to add some buttons or ribbon but I kept to the less is more and just gave the image and sentiment some depth with foam pads instead.  And I love my wall stamp but I can't remember what the make it - so annoying when that happens!

Anyhoo, I hope to see you share more of your inspiring makes with us again this week!  Meljen Designs Digital Stamps are giving away the lovely prize of the winner's choice of 4 single digis!

I didn't have time to choose a pick of the week as I've been away for the weekend so I'll make it up for next week by choosing two then!

See you later with my Pollycrafts Monday DT card!

Make It Monday sponsored by Meljen Designs!

It's Monday which means a new linky party is open over at Make It Monday! And we have again as our sponsors the lovely Meljen Designs Digital Stamps so today I used Meljen Design's Squiggy The Alien....

Ooooh, he's hardly scarey, but he's as cute as anything!  I used papers from the October Afternoon Seaside collection and the sentiment is made up of American Craft rub on alphas.

Meljen Designs Digital Stamps are giving away the lovely prize of the winner's choice of 4 single digis!

Okay, so for my pick of the week I chose this gorgeous card by Jayne of Eskimo Frosting...

Make It Monday sponsored by Meljen Designs!

Phew!  Last week was hard - work made it seem to last a month and next week doesn't look good either!  So apologies to you all now that I'm not getting around to see you as much as I usually do - believe me when I say I'd rather blog than work!!

This week over at Make It Monday we have another fab new sponsor for 2012 - Meljen Designs Digital Stamps!  I love their whimsical and sweet makes so it's great to have an excuse to use the numerous digis I own by them!  Today I used Meljen Design's Over The Moon...

Oh, I just loved playing with this sweetie!  It is just perfect for a baby card, don't cha think?  I used a lovely sentiment from Ladybug Crafts Ink's Baby Baby clear stamp set (it's currently half price, so I would get over there and get this sweet set!) and the paper inside is from the October Afternoon Seaside collection.  The base is a Grand Nestabilities scallop cirle die - I am so in love with my Grand Nesties at the moment!  I usually make my fave 4.5" x 4.5" cards but I've run out of envelopes to fit these so I'm trying to make smaller cards for my smaller envelope stock!

Anyhoo, I hope you can join us this week - you know how much we LOVE to see your projects!  Each week, I'm always overwhelmed by how talented you all are!  I definitely find inspiration every week from you!  And if you do join us this week, you can win your very own Meljen Designs digi!

Meljen Designs Digital Stamps are giving away the lovely prize of the winner's choice of 4 single digis!

Okay, so for my pick of the week, I chose this beautiful creation by of Simply Paper Crafts....

Get bright over at Flutter By Wednesday!

There's a new challenge over at Flutter By Wednesday - get rid of those winter blahs by using bright colours - and don't forget to use your fairies, angels or butterflies!  So here is my take on  it...

You can't get much brighter than yellow!  I used Meljen Designs Flutterby Fairy (yes, a newbie for me!) along with various sizes of Stitched Fan Flowers with lots of Glamour Dust and matched up with BasicGrey Lemonade papers.  Voila - a bright and cheery card!

Go take a look at more fluttery gorgossity over at the Flutter By Wednesday blog!

Blast from the past over at Meljen Designs!

(Go here for my post on the Pollycrafts Rockin' blog hop and a chance to win candy!)

Firstly, a HUGE thank you for all of the sweet wishes I received for my birthday yesterday!  I also received beautiful cards and pressies from some of my blog mates and will post a piccie of them soon!  So that's enough celebrating for this year, roll on the next one!

This week's Meljen Designs challenge is to show the very first card you ever made using their image - so here is mine using Sleepy Time bear which I think was made for High Hopes...

I love Meljen Designs and I must say I'm quite proud of this very first card I made with their goodies!

Going dotty!

Hope you are all having a fabby week!  Our British summer has kept true to form by teasing us with a few gorgeous days and now it's back to rain, rain, rain!  No wonder this darn place is so green....

But enough moaning!  Here is a new baby card I made...

Now the reason why I called this post "going dotty" isn't just because I used gorgeous papers from the Fresh Polkas digi paper collection by Cupcake Cards and Crafts - it's because I made loads of boo boos while making this card!!  First I stuck down the matting before putting the ribbon on, then I placed the image in the wrong place so had to unstick it and place it properly AND THEN I got black bl**dy ink on the bloomin' corner!!!  Well this last mistake was harder to rectify so managed to fix most of it but I lost the will to live and just left that little smudge in the bottom right hand corner!  I will fix it when my patience comes back....!  Even Steve learned some new swear words!!

LOL!  You gotta laugh or you'd cry...so of course this is another DT card for this month's Cupcake Craftroom challenge to use polka dots.  I hope you get a chance to play along - would love to see your makes on this theme!

Uber long card!

Happy Sunday everyone - I hope you are all having a lovely weekend!  It is hot and sunny here in East Sussex, UK and I'm looking forward to a day of gardening (NOT!!).

So onto today's card!  I saw Make It Monday DT pal's Chrissy take on the Meljen Designs challenge to make a business sized card - a mega long card around 9.5" x 4"!  Well, that sounded like a scarey challenge to me but Chrissy's take on it is just gorgeous (see second card on her post here) - she inspired me to have a go!

I was going to have my post title as "happy as a pig sitting in...[bleep]" but Steve said that was too rude!  So I changed it to a more acceptable one - he is such a prude sometimes, lol!!

Anyway, that is it from me today - enjoy the rest of the weekend and see you tomorrow with my Make It Monday DT card!

I am also entering my card into the Catch the Bug challenge for anything goes.

And they call it puppy love....

"...oh I guess they'll never know..." - oh no, that song is gonna be stuck in my head all day long now!!  And who sang it anyway?  The Osmonds?!!  Anyway, there is a reason for my rambling....I made this card for this week's Meljen's Designs challenge for 'masculine'...

Does it count?!  It's more boyish than manly, lol!  But I wanted to make this for my young nephew who loves my Ladbradors.  Unfortunately, he lives in Hong Kong so only gets to see them once a year.  This year I won't see him so I thought I'd send him some puppy love instead!

I am also entering my card into That's Krafty Thursday (yep, used my krafty stock again!)

Easter celebration over at A Spoonful of Sugar!

(Please scroll down for my Totally Ladybug Tuesday DT card)

Over at A Spoonful of Sugar we are celebrating with an Easter theme!  For my DT card, I used the super sweet Meljens Designs' Hello Bunny String - and it's super free to download here!  Here is what I did with it...

A different style for me!  I am always inspired by Paula of Flowers and Flutterby's - she has such a natural, original style.  When I saw this card here I just had the urge to do some doodling and I knew a Meljen digi would work well with it!  I think I need a bit more practice, but it was fun to do and I'm pleased the way it has turned out.  As you can see, I kept it to a CAS style to showcase the image and simply used Aquamarkers, the doodling and my trusty opaque white Viva Decor gloss pen to create teeny tiny pearls around the rabbit. I hope Paula approves!

You can see the other DT gorgeous makes here - go take a look, you won't be disappointed!

I am entering my card into Meljen Design's challenge to use punches, Karen's Doodles for Easter and Make it Monday where you can just share your creations!

Paper/cardstock: Bazzill cardstock
Stamps: Meljens Designs' Hello Bunny String, free to download here

I've been wanting to create something with this sweet, sweet dragon by Meljen Designs for aaages and this week's challenge over at their blog is to use green - what a perfect match!

I just adore him with that lickle, ickle butterfly!!!  I teamed him up with pink because he's far too cute for a male card!  And look at all those flowers!  I don't often use flowers but I needed some depth and these were perfet for it!  You can just about see the white opaque pearls on the pattern - I used Viva Decor gloss gel pen in white - it looks gorgeous IRL!

That's it from me today - enjoy the rest of your day and see you tomorrow with my DT posts for Quixotic Inspirations and By LoRi Designs!
