Sushi love!

I made a birthday card for a male friend who loves sushi so I just had to use the super cool Rice Rice Baby by SugarPea Designs...

I will never get bored of creating with this cute guy and the matching sentiments in this set are so brilliant!  Take a look at the whole set...

I used my Embossalicious embossing folder and Doodlebug papers.  I also used my CC Designs woodgrain stamp on kraft cardstock for a bit of contrast.  I topped it off with some Dew Drops - I have trillions of these so I'm hoping they will become trendy again so I can use them up!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Saturday and I'll be back tomorrow with my Lili of the Valley DT post - see you then!

I'm so happy I could dance!

OMG, we don't have long before we are off on holiday to sunny, hot, gorgeous Australia - woo hoo!  I got a lot to sort out before I go though - Christmas presents and cards for a start!  And I've even got a series of early Christmas lunches with friends and work colleagues starting from next week!

But I'm here today, not to bore you with my holiday plans, but with my Lili of the Valley DT post.  I'm showing you one of the new girlies who will be in the bricks and mortar store today and the website from midday (GMT) on Monday.

Here is my make using Dancing Queen matched with the gorgeous papers from the Perfect Pair pad...

And do you like that layout?  The lovely Jen Nelson invited me to do a guest spot over at Sketch Saturday for November so I used this week's new sketch...

Check more inspiration over at the LOTV Ideas to Inspire blog here.  I'm off to see if I can still squeeze into my bikini...

What day is it? It's Bellarific Friday, of course!!

It's been another mega busy week for me at work and the bad weather we had on Monday did not help!  Apologies again for not visiting you all much at your blogs - it's easier for me track my FB friends on my iPhone but I promise to visit your blogs soon!

Anyhoo, here is my Bellarific Babe card for this week and we had a sketch to follow...

I couldn't help but use classy Uptown Girl Audrey Loves Her Makeup again - she's so perfect for my work colleagues.  I matched her up with Glitz Design papers and a pretty daisy using MFT dies.

And now for some exciting news!  Starting from 1 January 2014 we will be featuring a Guest Designer each month on the blog.  To play along with us and perhaps become a guest designer, you must participate in our Bellarific Friday challenges with a watermark of your blog on your card.  By Being a babe for the month, you will receive a gift certificate from us... plus the possible opportunity of being a full time baberooni!

Okay, so the next Bellarific Friday challenge is to use two stamps.  Send your creations to Em by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks!

It's All That Scraps preview time!  And the new release for this month is going to bring big sunny smiles to your face!  Today we are showing the gorgeous CC Designs makes created by our wonderful leader, Christine!  So here is my make using sweet, funny Snorkeling Beatrice...

I bet you smiled when you saw her, didn't ya?!  I just love this new Beatrice and I decided to take it a step further and make a shaker card!  I also used the new CC Cutters Bubble Border die, the sweet CC Cutters Starfish die and the sentiment is from the new AmyR Oh So Beachy! set - all co-ordinating perfectly together!

Make It Monday sponsored by Scrapbook Sisters!

A new Make It Monday linky party has opened today!  So a happy Monday to you and here is my DT make to kick off the week...

This little lady is called Step On It and is illustrated by Torico of Birdie Brown fame - she just makes me smile!!  The papers are from The ScrapCake Happiness paper pad (for mine from Dies To Die For). This card is going to a very special friend who has lost a lot of weight recently and I know she'll love this cheeky gal!  I really enjoyed colouring this sweetie's hair and skirt in too - here's a closer look...

What a doll!  Anyway, this week we are being sponsored by the lovely Scrapbook Sisters and the prize is 5 digis from their store!

So for my pick of the week, I have chosen this lovely age card by Julie of Rainbow Days...

Created by by Julie of Rainbow Days

I just love the way Julie used the shades of pink and red together, along with the embossing and doodling - beautifully put together!  Thanks for sharing with us Julie!

Right, I'm off!  Thanks for visiting me and hope your week starts off well!

A very special CC Designs release!

There's a special CC Designs release this month - a very gorgeous Sugarplums Beach Kit!  And the DT are showcasing the kit over the next 3 days in readiness for it's release in the All That Scraps shop on 17 May!   So here is my first make using the kit...

Ain't she sweet?!  And that little crab comes in the kit too!  I used a sentiment from the AmyR Stamps Beach Sentiments set - the perfect match!  I got to use up some of my millions of Dew Drops stock too!  And also some of the last papers from my K and Company Happy Trails mat pad.

This kit contains four cute Sugarplum gals with six accessory stamps.  It's on special purchase from 17th - 31st May with 20% off the regular price only in the All That Scraps store.  It will then revert to its regular MSRP so you'll want to get in there quick!  Check out the rest of the DT designs over at the All That Scraps blog!

That is it from me today - see you tomorrow with my DT posts for MilkCoffee Stamps, Little Miss Muffet and Pixie Dust Studios.  A busy day for me!!

All That Scraps April release review!

Hi everyone, hope your week has started off well!  It is miserable here in the UK - wet, grey, cold - where is our Spring?!!  To brighten my day, I thought I'd at least make a Spring card using the goodies from the new All That Scraps April release!

I love this cutie by uber talented Amy Young called Laugh Lines Garden and the sentiment is from C.C. Designs Watering Can Logos Rubber Stamp Set.  I used the gorgeous C.C. Cutter Butterfly Border Die from the March release.  Paper-wise, I won this gorgeous The ScrapCake Happiness paper pad from the lovely Tracy of Dies To Die For.  I've never seen this brand before - looks like Mr Credit Card will be out to play again!  You can see more gorgeous DT inspiration over at the All That Scraps blog.

I'm off now - have a lovely day everyone!!
